    This is how to write a concierge resume that deserves a 5-star review:

    1. Start With the Right Concierge Resume Format

    In your job, presentation is everything. You want to maintain a professional air at all times and look the part, too, right? Otherwise, guests just aren’t likely to take you seriously or approach you at all. 

    It’s the same with your concierge resume. If it doesn’t look sleek and professional at first glance, recruiter’s won’t take the chance—they’ll move on to the next candidate in seconds. 

    That’s why it’s crucial to get your resume formatting right. Here’s how:

    Unless stated otherwise, save your resume as a PDF. A PDF will preserve the resume layout and is easily readable by Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). 

    And your resume must be ATS-compliant, especially if you’re applying to a large hotel chain. According to research, 90% of employers use ATS solutions. 

    2. Write a Convincing Concierge Resume Objective or Summary

    Once you master resume formatting, you can start writing. Before you delve into describing your experience, introduce yourself briefly with a resume profile section that showcases your strengths. 

    If you already have some working experience, write a resume summary. Use:

    1. One adjective (friendly, hard-working, diligent)
    2. Job title (Concierge)

    4. Mention Education on Your Concierge Resume

    Although most concierge jobs don’t require any specific degree, you should still include an education section on your resume—even if it’s just a formality. 

    It won’t take much time, either:

    If you already have some experience, list your highest completed level of education, plus the name of the school and graduation year. 

    Candidates with no experience can lean on academic activities to boost their application and bulk out their resume somewhat. You can include bullet points with things like:
