4. Give Them A Reason To Hire You

 

Even for jobs that focus mostly on communication and repetitive tasks, the best strategy is to quantify your impact. Always back up your arguments with achievements or metrics. 

 

This middle paragraph should contain between 80 and 120 words and 2 to 3 of your biggest achievements and skills. Don’t make a boring list of responsibilities. Don’t write down what they expected you to do—in your cover letter write how well you did it
